We took part in the inauguration ceremony this morning, which was an honor for us all. The community was here, and personnalities from Bridges to Prosperity and the government.
We shared and danced together. A community member testified about their previous situation without the new bridge. Now children can safely go to school. We feel grateful we had the opportunity to participate in this project that will connect people and help them have a better life.
Here is a view of the old bridge, taken from the new bridge.
We spent fabulous days, working hard with the community, we have learnt a lot from them and hope they learnt a little from us.
It was very difficult to leave them after such an experience and so many hours mixing concrete together.
Here are some pictures taken during the inauguration ceremony.
