Bridges to Prosperity envisions a world where poverty caused by rural isolation no longer exists.
This non profit organization works with local communities, partners and foundations.
Modest support and great impact
Bridges to Prosperity is a non profit organization that partners with local governments to connect their rural last mile via pedestrian bridges.
Footbridges are simple so rural communities are able to build them with only modest support, while the impact is great. A randomized control study concluded that bridge connectivity increases household income by 32%, while farmers increase agricultural outputs and labor rates increase by 30%.
Bridges to Prosperity partners with government agencies to connect the rural last mile through footbridge building.
Because connection is the foundation for opportunity
Since its founding Bridges to Prosperity connected nearly 1 million people, and have built over 250 footbridges, and expanded to 18 countries across Southeast Asia, Africa, and Central and South America.
